Saddam's sons' bodies identified, says US General
Saddam Hussein’s sons Uday and Qusay died in a fierce gunfight when US forces, acting on a tip from an Iraqi informant, stormed a palatial villa in northern Iraq.
Two other Iraqis and four coalition soldiers were wounded in the six-hour raid yesterday, but Saddam was not among them. The house belonged to Nawaf al-Zaydan Muhhamad, a Saddam cousin and tribal leader in the region.
