France goes on Christmas terror alert

France will double its anti-terrorism security measures during the busy Christmas holiday season, Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin said today.

The international situation and increased travel required the government to take “all measures of vigilance and prevention to ensure the security of our citizens,” Raffarin said in Paris.
