Turkey detains 224 illegal migrants

Turkish police have detained 224 illegal migrants on their way to Western Europe, a news agency reported.

Paramilitary police in the province of Van, found 28 migrants hiding in trucks, and rounded up another 72 after searching nearby villages, the Anatolia news agency reported.
