Thirteen injured in Pakistan blast
Thirteen people - mostly German and Austrian tourists - have been injured in an explosion today at an archaeological site in northern Pakistan.
The incident occurred in Mansehra, about 170 miles north of Peshawar, police said.
Police said a tourist minivan had stopped at the site of inscriptions associated with the Mauryan emperor Ashoka when the blast occurred.
Seven Germans, three Austrians and three Pakistanis were injured, police said.
Officials said they were uncertain what caused the blast.
