Turkey would host Afghan opposition groups

The Turkish Prime Minister says his country is willing to host a meeting of Afghan opposition groups to discuss a new government once the Taliban is defeated.

Bulent Ecevit will not confirm reports the Northern Alliance and representatives of the former King are due to meet in Istanbul later this week.
