Whitney Houston denies reports of her death
Whitney Houston's record company has issued an official statement to say she is alive after US radio stations reported the singer had died.
Radio news bulletins in Los Angeles and New York claimed Whitney had died through the combination of an eating disorder and drug abuse.
Arista Records issued a statement to say Whitney is "fine" and thanked fans for their concern.
Concerns for Whitney started when she pulled out of the second Michael Jackson 30th anniversary concert in New York on September 10, shortly before she was due on stage.
Whitney performed at the first show three days earlier but the audience was shocked after she appeared emaciated on stage.
Whitney's publicist Nancy Seltzer says Whitney does not have an eating disorder but has "family issues" and when she is worried, she doesn't eat.
The official Arista Records statement denying reports of Whitney's death said: "Whitney Houston is fine. This is a rumour and it's not true. She thanks everyone for their concern. She is fine and at home with her family."
