Two girls killed in school stampede

Two girl students were crushed to death in a stampede at a girls' high school in India.

The stampede was sparked by a fire caused by a short circuit.

Scores of other girls were injured when hundreds of them rushed out of class rooms on the first floor of the school in Ahmedabad.

Several of the injured girls are reported to be unconscious in hospital.
