Chinese bombing suspect 'confesses' after arrest
A Chinese man accused of causing explosions that killed 108 people has been captured after a weeklong nationwide manhunt.
Jin Ruchao, 40, has reportedly confessed and admitted to killing a woman in southwestern China. He was captured in Beihai, on China's southern coast, by officers who recognised him from a photograph.
He is accused of causing four blasts on March 16 in Shijiazhuang, a northern industrial centre. The explosions damaged worker housing at two cotton mills, a construction firm and a railway agency.
The Shijiazhuang explosions struck within about an hour. Most of the deaths occurred at the city's No. 3 Cotton Mill. A five-story building there housing 48 families was reduced to rubble.
The three other buildings suffered less damage.
Police have not disclosed a motive or said whether they are looking for other suspects. They offered a 100,000 yuan (£8,400) reward for tips leading to Jin, who is deaf.
