Quirky World: Louis Vuitton thieves return police armbands
Choosy thieves returned a delivery of police armbands they say they inadvertently stole while targeting luxury goods, a French prosecutor said.
Five masked thieves robbed a delivery centre in Saint-Quentin-Fallavie on December 22, making off with a shipment of Louis Vuitton products — as well as six packages destined for the national police — Vienne prosecutor Matthiew Bourrette told the Dauphine Libere newspaper.
The paper reported that the packages containing police armbands were left outside the police station overnight on December 24 with a taped note: “An unexpected windfall, luxury clothing targeted without weapons or violence. Happy holidays to all.”
The thieves — and the Louis Vuitton merchandise — remain missing, the newspaper reported.

Gross said he watched Lopez open some sushi, eat a piece, and then put it back on the shelf. He said Lopez did the same with a package of mini muffins and cinnamon rolls. He said Lopez also ate most of a rotisserie chicken. Lopez said she was homeless and hungry and had just injected herself with methamphetamine.
