Poisoned illegal brew kills 40

POISONED illegal drink in the Indian state of Gujarat has killed more than 40 people and left many more seriously ill.

More than 20 people are receiving treatment in the capital Ahmedabad. The victims were reported to be labourers and regular drinkers.
