Trial over ‘plot’ to kill husband

A WOMAN appeared at the Old Bailey yesterday accused of sinking her husband’s luxury cruiser and plotting to kill him.

Mandy Fleming, 44, is alleged to have damaged the £90,000 (€111,000) boat, which sank in Brighton Marina, East Sussex, on Valentine’s Day 2004. She is alleged to have done so with intent to endanger life.

Ms Fleming, who is divorced from Adam Fleming, is also accused of conspiracy to murder Mr Fleming between October 2004 and July 2006. She faces the charge with three men, Bradley Hanson, 24, Rakesh Patel, 35, and her new partner David Brown, 47.
