Wedding guests attacked by man with hammer

GUESTS at a wedding reception needed hospital treatment after a man started attacking people with a hammer.

Police were called to the Station Hotel, in Alfreton, Derbyshire, after reports of someone hitting party-goers with the weapon.

The attack, thought to have been carried out by an uninvited guest, left two people with minor injuries, said police.
