Bold is beautiful, insist designers

A SERIES of bold collections were unveiled at London Fashion Week yesterday.

Betty Jackson, Nicole Farhi and Ashley Isham were among the designers who revealed their autumn-winter clothes.

Hundreds of international press, buyers and designers packed into venues across the capital for the penultimate day of catwalk shows.

Betty Jackson’s show at the Natural History Museum included bold print dresses and chunky wool knitwear.

Nicole Farhi’s collection featured soft, flowing greys and multi-layered fabrics.

Singapore-born Ashley Isham’s show brought a dash of high glamour to the catwalk despite his early morning slow.

His collection featured pinched waisted dresses and fishtail skirts combined as well as striking make-up.
