Nordic whaling quota increased

NORWAY will let hunters kill 797 Minke whales next year in the largest quota set by the Nordic country since it resumed the protested commercial hunts in 1993.

The country enraged environmentalists and many governments by resuming commercial whale hunts in 1993 despite a global ban.
