Crusader Bono’s Time has come
The rocker shares the accolade with Microsoft billionaires Bill and Melinda Gates. Bono was instrumental in the debt relief campaign for the poorest countries in the world, while the Gateses committed billions of dollars to help fight infectious diseases in Africa.
Time editor-at-large Nancy Gibbs said the three had been selected for being shrewd about doing good, for rewiring politics and re-engineering justice and then daring the rest of the world to follow.
