Teacher who seduced student free

A TEACHER who notoriously seduced a 12-year-old pupil - and had his two daughters - has been released from a US prison after serving seven years for child rape.

Mary Kay Letourneau, aged 42, was released from Washington Corrections Centre for Women near Gig Harbor, Washington, early yesterday.

Letourneau and her now 21-year-old former lover, Vili Fualaau, plan to challenge a court order that bars her from contacting him, a friend said.
