Cork City will face Clare Shine's Douglas Hall in the Women's FAI Cup quarter-final.

FAI Head of Women’s and Girl’s Football Lizzy Kent was joined by FAI President Paul Cooke to help with the draw at FAI HQ on Tuesday afternoon.

And after scoring for Hall in their 2-0 win over Dundalk last weekend, Shine will now face her former club City, whom she helped win the FAI Cup back in 2017 when she netted the winner at the Aviva Stadium.

Elsewhere last year’s Cup winners Athlone Town will bid to defend their title against Shamrock Rovers at home, while another North Dublin Derby awaits between Bohemians and Shelbourne and finally Sligo Rovers make the short trip to Galway to face Galway United.

The quarter-final fixtures are due to be played week ending Sunday 2 August.
