Pat Devlin has left Bray Wanderers, ending his 40-year tie with the Wicklow club.
Devlin - who managed the club on five separate occasions - first took charge in back in the mid-1980s in a player-manager capacity.
Devlin, now 72, led Bray to an FAI Cup title before departing the club at the end of the decade. He would return midway through the '90s and would stay put until 2006, adding a second FAI Cup title during that tenure.
His latest stint was as the club's head of football, which he pivoted to in 2022, working with current manager Paul Heffernan.
"Bray Wanderers extends its heartfelt thanks and best wishes to Pat Devlin as he concludes his tenure as Head of Football," Wanderers said. "Pat's commitment, leadership, and passion for the game have left a lasting impact on the club and the wider football community.
"We are grateful to Pat Devlin for his many contributions to Bray Wanderers FC and to Irish football over several decades. We sincerely thank him for all he has done for the club and wish him every success in the future.
"His work has helped lay strong foundations for the club's continued progress, and we are truly appreciative as we look ahead to an exciting new chapter for Bray Wanderers and the seasons to come."
