Portugal coach Roberto Martinez announced on Friday the list of players called up for the matches against the Republic of Ireland and Armenia.

Carlos Forbs, Club Brugge striker, could make his international debut after scoring twice against Barcelona in the Champions League.

Trained at Sporting and Manchester City, the 21-year-old joins names like Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes and Bernardo Silva in the squad

Another highlight is the return of João Cancelo, from Al Hilal, who has recovered from injury. 

Gonçalo Inácio, João Neves and Rafael Leão also return after injury absences.
