Ireland boss Heimir Hallgrímsson has named his 23-man Ireland squad for the final two fixtures of the UEFA Nations League campaign against Finland and England.

In-form Stoke City striker Tom Cannon is included, fresh from scoring his seventh goal of the Championship season in the Potters' win over Blackburn, as is teammate Andy Moran. Moran will provide Hallgrimsson with another option in the '10' position.

Jason Knight, Burnley's Josh Cullen and West Brom's Jayson Molumby are the other central midfield options, with Ipswich middle-man Jack Taylor absent.

Liverpool 'keeper Caoimhín Kelleher will continue between the posts, with back-ups Mark Travers and Max O'Leary in reserve.

There are returns for captain Seamus Coleman and veteran centre-half Shane Duffy, while there is no place for Wolves' Matt Doherty or Ireland's matchwinner in Finland, Robbie Brady, who misses out through injury. The youthful defensive core of Dara O'Shea, Nathan Collins and Liam Scales are all included, as expected, while there are also places for both Callum O'Dowda and Luton Town centre-half Mark McGuinness.

Andrew Omobamidele, Everton's Jake O'Brien, and Southampton left-back Ryan Manning all miss out.

Festy Ebosele - on-loan at Watford from Udinese - impressive in the previous international window, will provide cover on the right flank. With Ipswich winger Chiedozie Ogbene likely to miss the rest of the season with injury, Kasey McAteer and Mikey Johnston are once again given the nod.

Evan Ferguson headlines the forward unit, while Cannon, Sammie Szmodics and Celtic's Adam Idah will vie for minutes alongside the Brighton striker in Hallgrimsson's front line.
