AC Milan's Malick Thiaw, center, celebrates the opener

AC Milan's Malick Thiaw, Alvaro Morata and Tijjani Reijnders all got on the scoresheet in a surprise 3-1 win at holders Real Madrid in their Champions League clash on Tuesday.

Thiaw gave seven-times European champions Milan the lead with a header from a corner in the 12th minute but Vinicius Jr equalised with a penalty 11 minutes later.

Morata put the visitors back in front by netting from a rebound in the 39th and Reijnders fired home a Rafael Leao cross after a counter attack to wrap up Milan's statement win over the lacklustre title holders.

Real are languishing in 17th place in the 36-team Champions League table with six points, one spot ahead of Milan on goal difference after four games.

Celtic's Nicolas Kuehn scored twice and Reo Hatate added another as the Scottish champions fought back to beat RB Leipzig 3-1 in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Coming off a goalless draw at Atalanta in the previous matchday, Celtic recorded their second home win in the Champions League first round to provisionally sit 13th on seven points.

Leipzig's wait for a first point continues, their chances of progress to the knockout stages fading after four defeats in as many games.

The Scots sought to take control of proceedings early on, but Leipzig took the lead after 23 minutes through Christoph Baumgartner's close-range header after a corner came off Celtic's Cameron Carter-Vickers.

Kuehn levelled the score in the 35th minute with a superb curling effort from the edge of the box inside the far post, before netting his second with a tap-in into an open net to put Celtic ahead just before halftime.

Benjamin Sesko and Baumgartner came close to equalising for the Germans after the break but Celtic's birthday boy, 38-year-old goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, pulled off a couple of fine saves before Hatate sealed victory in the 72nd minute.

Lille kept their composure to hold Juventus to a 1-1 home draw on Tuesday as the French side maintained their solid form in the group phase of the Champions League.

Jonathan David's first-half opener for Lille was cancelled out by Dusan Vlahovic's penalty after the interval with both sides now on seven points from four games.

Bruno Genesio's team were under pressure throughout but another scintillating performance by keeper Lucas Chevalier helped them secure a point.

Borussia Dortmund substitute Donyell Malen scored an 85th minute goal to secure a 1-0 victory over Sturm Graz in the Champions League on Tuesday and make it three wins from four matches.

The Dutch striker, who has spent a lot of time on the bench this season with speculation swirling about his future at the club, had come on in the 67th minute.

He intercepted a ball in the Austrians' half, played a one-two with Serhou Guirassy and finished in the box with a well-taken shot.

Similarly, AS Monaco defender Thilo Kehrer snatched a late goal to earn a 1-0 victory at Bologna in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Monaco captain Kehrer, left unmarked in front of goal four minutes from time, stretched out a leg to poke the ball home from a flick off a corner to claim the points.

The visitors maintained their unbeaten start to this season’s Champions League while dealing Bologna their first ever home defeat in European competition.

Meanwhile, in the earlier games Dinamo Zagreb smashed Slovan Bratislava 4-1 with a brace from Sandro Kulenovic helping the away side to a straightforward win, as PSV also hit Girona for 4. Girona's chances weren't helped by the sending off of Arnau Martinez in the 55th minute.
