Saoirse Noonan said her Celtic debut was 'something dreams are made of' as the Cork native netted a goal in each half at Parkhead.
Celtic FC Women created another piece of history when they raised the league flag at Paradise in recognition of last season’s title triumph.
It was the first SWPL title in the club’s history, and captain Kelly Clark was joined by football legend and Celtic Ambassador, Rose Reilly, to unfurl the flag.
And Noonan helped mark the occasion in style as she scored a brace in their 9-0 victory over Dundee United.

The former Cork City and Shelbourne forward grabbed her first in the 28th minute when she headed home from six yards out before she blasted her second in off the bar shortly before the hour.
"It's something dreams are made of really," Noonan told Celtic TV shortly after full time.
"Even getting my first start here first of all, that was one thing but then obviously getting on the scoresheet... so yeah, look it was a huge effort from everyone and I'm just delighted I got on the scoresheet.
"I think having flag day, it was such a big occasion for everyone. First game to kick off the new season at Celtic Park... yeah I think we did ourselves justice and hopefully we can go on from that good result."
