First Ireland call for Cork City captain Eva Mangan

Cork City's Eva Mangan has earned a first call-up to the Ireland women's national team for the European Championship qualifier with Sweden in Stockholm on June 4th.
The 19-year-old midfielder, who captains Danny Murphy's side, has impressed this season for Cork, who sit fifth in the table, a much improved showing on recent seasons.Â
Both Niamh Fahey and Heather Payne are unavailable for this squad due to Achilles injuries, while Chloe Mustaki, Tara O'Hanlon and Jamie Finn are continuing their recovery from long-term injuries.
The Ireland squad will begin preparations for the qualifiers at the FAI National Training Centre from May 27th.
