Sports Minister Catherine Martin describes World Cup bid as 'incredible opportunity'

Irish Government officials have welcomed a planned 2030 World Cup bid.

The FAI in conjunction with the Irish Football Association, The FA, the Football Association of Wales, and the Scottish FA last night confirmed plans for a five-association bid to host the tournament in nine years' time.
