Facebook launches its own football awards

Fans are being given the chance to elect their Barclays Premier League Player of the Year after Facebook announced the launch of its own football awards.

Supporters all over the world can vote for various awards including Player and Young Player of the Year, Club of the Year and Manager of the Year, as well as pick an 11-man line-up for the BT Sport Best XI.
