First silverware of the season at Old Trafford

Manchester United fans saw at least one trophy in their home grounds when Rory McIlroy brought the Claret jug with him today.

McIlroy is a devoted United fan and was happy to be interviewed with his Open trophy ahead of the Swansea game.

The golfer even drew jeers after his Open win at Royal Liverpool last month when he declared his allegiance to United during his winner’s speech.
