Jose Mourinho and Chelsea will wait until after Monday’s Barclays Premier League match at Old Trafford to make a third bid for Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney.

Chelsea have seen two offers for Rooney rebuffed by United, who insist the England striker is not for sale.
