McClean makes way for new Sunderland signing
New-boy Alfred N’Diaye was handed his full debut for Sunderland in this afternoon’s Premier League encounter with Wigan.
N’Diaye replaced James McClean, the only change from the Black Cats side that defeated West Ham last weekend.
Wigan boss Roberto Martinez resisted the temptation to include Angelo Henriquez and Roger Espinoza, but did pick Ronnie Stam to replace Ivan Ramis and recalled Jordi Gomez at the expense of David Jones.
