Republic call for Chelsea's Clifford

Chelsea midfielder Conor Clifford tonight became the latest man to be drafted into the Republic of Ireland squad ahead of the World Cup qualifiers against Germany and the Faroe Islands.

The 21-year-old, who had a loan spell at Portsmouth earlier this season, has been called up amid a growing injury crisis for the Irish.
