Tottenham have confirmed the departure of defender Vedran Corluka to Lokomotiv Moscow.

The 26-year-old joined Spurs from Manchester City for a reported £8.5m in 2008, having impressed in his single season in the north but being keen to join international team-mate Luka Modric at White Hart Lane.
