Three goals in five first half minutes gave Bray their biggest away win of the season to strengthen their grip on sixth place in the table.

Gary Shaw gave Pat Devlin's side the perfect start with the lead goal after just two minutes, shooting past Stephen Trimble having been given a clear run on goal.

Bray then ended the game as a contest from the 32nd minute when first Danny McGuinness double their lead when running through onto keeper Darren Quigley's clearance.

A minute later they scored again with McGuinness crossing for John Murloy to finish.

Skipper Gary Dempsey then chipped home the fourth on 36 minutes.

Drogheda got a 72nd minute consolation goal when Bray striker Conor Murphy's deflection from Philip Hand's free-kick flew past Quigley to the net.
