Rangers finance director Donald McIntyre has resigned from the board, the club has confirmed.

Rangers finance director Donald McIntyre has resigned from the board, the club has confirmed.

McIntyre and former chief executive Martin Bain were both suspended by the Scottish champions in May, weeks after Craig Whyte completed his takeover of the Ibrox club.

A spokesman for Rangers said tonight: “Mr McIntyre is currently under suspension and an employee of the club and it is not unexpected that he has resigned as a director.”
