McCarthy happy for Doyle to play internationals

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has no problem with Kevin Doyle linking up with the Republic of Ireland at the end of the season despite an injury-wrecked finale to the campaign.

The 27-year-old suffered knee ligament damage while on international duty in March and has only just returned to fitness.
