New deal for Blackburn's Blackman

Promising Blackburn striker Nick Blackman has signed a new two-and-a-half-year deal, which will keep him at Ewood Park until the summer of 2013.

Blackman, 21, returned to the club this month after a successful loan spell at Motherwell, where he scored 10 goals in 18 appearances in the first half of the season.
