Arsene Wenger has sprung a major surprise tonight by handing 20-year-old Pole Wojciech Szczesny his Premier League debut in Arsenal’s showdown with Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Szczesny’s only three previous appearances have come in the Carling Cup but with Lukasz Fabianski left on the bench, Wenger is relying on the youngster to keep United at bay.
