West Midlands police have vowed to identify and take action against fans who caused the violent scenes at the end of Birmingham’s Carling Cup triumph over Aston Villa last night.

West Midlands police have vowed to identify and take action against fans who caused the violent scenes at the end of Birmingham’s Carling Cup triumph over Aston Villa last night.

Nearly 500 police were on duty in and around St. Andrew’s and so far they have arrested seven supporters.
