Boateng ready for City

Roberto Mancini has declared Jerome Boateng fit for Manchester City’s trip to Blackpool on Sunday.

Boateng missed Germany’s midweek encounter with Kazakhstan after picking up a virus but has now recovered and is expected to feature at Bloomfield Road.

Micah Richards and Pablo Zabaleta have both recovered from hamstring injuries but Mario Balotelli (knee) and Aleksandar Kolarov (ankle) will be missing for another 10 days.
