Neuville retires

Former Germany international Oliver Neuville has announced his retirement.

The 37-year-old striker, who made 69 appearances for his country, brought the curtain down on an almost two-decade long career that has included two World Cup finals and saw him play in Bayer Leverkusen’s 2002 Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid.
