Brown back to bolster Utd rearguard

Wes Brown returns to the Manchester United squad for tomorrow’s Barclays Premier League encounter with Tottenham at Old Trafford.

Brown has recovered from the broken foot he suffered at Wolves at the beginning of March but is available to bolster Alex Ferguson’s defensive options.

With Chelsea not in action until Sunday, United have the chance to reclaim the Premier League’s top spot for 24 hours but Owen Hargreaves will not be involved as his planned comeback has been delayed by a calf strain.
