Diamanti laughs off Milan link

West Ham playmaker Alessandro Diamanti has distanced himself from reports linking him to AC Milan.

Diamanti has impressed at Upton Park since his move from Livorno in August and it has been suggested that Milan coach Leonardo is interested in bringing him to the San Siro in the current transfer window.

But Diamanti, who has six goals to his name this season, including four in his last five outings, says he is only interested in the Hammers’ battle against relegation.

“I know nothing about these stories that I want to go to Milan. To be honest they do not even interest me,” the 26-year-old told www.milannews.it.

“Right now I am thinking only about the salvation of West Ham. I do not care about anything else.”
