Thierry Henry has sent a tweet to his Twitter page saying simply: "I'm not the referee... but if I hurt someone I'm sorry", in an apparent reference to last night's handball preceding France's winning goal that sent Les Bleus into the World Cup.

Thierry Henry has sent a tweet to his Twitter page saying simply: "I'm not the referee... but if I hurt someone I'm sorry", in an apparent reference to last night's handball preceding France's winning goal that sent Les Bleus into the World Cup.

Henry admitted last night that he had handled the ball, but had not done so on purpose, despite match video which seems to show him manually directing the ball towards his feet.
