The Scottish Football Association today confirmed there will be no further action taken over the events which led to Barry Ferguson and Allan McGregor being banned from representing Scotland ever again.

Rangers duo Ferguson and McGregor were punished for their behaviour while on international duty in the past fortnight, which saw them indulge in an early-hours drinking session before making V-signs at photographers upon being dropped by manager George Burley for last Wednesday’s World Cup qualifier against Iceland.
