Darragh Ryan made a winning return to Cork City as St. Pat’s exorcised the demons of last week's home defeat to Galway with this win at Turner’s Cross.

Ryan, who starred for Cork last season, hit the only goal of the game on ten minutes when meeting Alan Cawley’s corner to fire past Dan Connor.

St. Pat’s might have doubled their lead early in the second half but for a bad miss by Latvian Gints Friemanis.
