Cup clash clogs up Gunners schedule

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admitted next month’s FA Cup fourth-round replay with Cardiff was a game he could do without.

The FA Cup is the Gunners’ best chance of silverware this season although Wenger has not given up hope in the Premier League, where they are currently fifth, or the Champions League, where they will soon take on Roma home and away.
