United unchanged for visit of Sunderland
Four goals against Blackburn in midweek were not enough to get Carlos Tevez a place in the Manchester United starting line-up to face managerless Sunderland at Old Trafford.
Instead, Alex Ferguson stood by the starting XI that defeated Manchester City last Sunday as United looked to maintain winning form against the beleaguered Black Cats.
With Craig Gordon and George McCartney injured and Kieron Richardson suspended, acting manager Ricky Sbragia made four changes, with former United Champions League winner Dwight Yorke handed a holding role.
