Carrick and Hargreaves miss out for United

Midfield duo Michael Carrick and Owen Hargreaves will again miss out when Manchester United face West Brom at Old Trafford tomorrow.

It had been hoped the pair would be fit after recent ankle and knee problems, respectively. Carrick may return to training at some point next week, but he will not be considered, while Hargreaves is slightly further behind as he battles a long-standing tendinitis injury.
