Tottenham head coach Juande Ramos gave Roman Pavlyuchenko and Vedran Corluka their debuts in the Premier League clash against Aston Villa at White Hart Lane.

Skipper Ledley King was not in the matchday squad so Jonathan Woodgate took the armband and was in central defence alongside Michael Dawson.
