Rosicky blow for Gunners
Tomas Rosicky will miss Arsenal’s Barclays Premier League match with Newcastle tomorrow because of a hamstring problem.
The Czech winger, though, is not expected to be a long-term absentee. Theo Walcott is ready to fill in again on the right against the Magpies, who were beaten 3-0 in the FA Cup at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
Manuel Almunia should return in goal, along with full-back Bacary Sagna. However, striker Robin van Persie (thigh), midfielder Denilson (hamstring) and defender Johan Djourou (groin) are all still sidelined while Kolo Toure, Emmanuel Eboue and Alex Song are on international duty at the African Nations Cup.
Team (from): Almunia, Sagna, Senderos, Gallas, Clichy, Hleb, Flamini, Fabregas, Walcott, Eduardo, Adebayor, Lehmann, Hoyte, Diaby, Gilberto, Bendtner, Traore, Randall.
