Caldwell withdraws from Scotland squad

Scotland defender Gary Caldwell has been ruled out of the Euro 2008 qualifiers against Ukraine and Georgia.

Caldwell suffered a knee injury during Celtic’s 2-1 victory over Gretna on Sunday and was known to be a major doubt for Saturday’s game against Ukraine at Hampden.
