Woodgate back for Boro

Middlesbrough defender Jonathan Woodgate returns to the squad for tomorrow’s Premier League clash with Birmingham having been rested in midweek.

Woodgate, like midfielder Julio Arca, was left out of the side for the 1-0 Carling Cup victory over Northampton, while striker Jeremie Aliadiere missed out after being knocked unconscious during Sunday’s 2-2 draw with Newcastle.

However, Andrew Davies was not so fortunate and will sit out after suffering a head injury in the cup tie.
